Dream Criteria
The Dream Factory accepts referrals from family members, friends and medical personnel. For a child to be considered eligible to receive a dream, he or she must meet the following criteria:
The child must be age 3 through 18 years old.
The child has NOT had a dream or wish granted by any other organization.
The child must have a critical or chronic illness which must be verified on the application by the child's primary physician.
The dream must be that of the child, not the parent, guardian or other concerned party. The child must be able to communicate the dream to a Dream Factory representative.
The Dream Factory grants dreams without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or economic status.
Dream Referrals
Anyone can refer a child for a dream. Family members, friends, medical professionals etc. can simply print an application, give it to the child's parents or legal guardian to fill out and then mail to the Dream Factory of Florida at P.O. Box 2473, Brandon, FL 33509-2473.
When the application is received, a Dream Manager will make contact to schedule a screening interview. All applications are discussed and voted on by the Dream Factory of Florida Board of Directors.
